Welcome to my home page.
My name is Barry Cowles and I am married to Jenny.
This site is currently being developed and probably will be so for
some time to come
We currently live in
Tredegar,
Gwent and are very happy here. Jenny goes to Craft Lessons here and
in the summer time I may get a game or two of bowls at
The Bedwellty Park Bowls Club, Health permitting!! ( I suffer
from Colitis )
There are some photographs of mine on the
BBC website that were taken in and around Tredegar.
We were originally both born in Aylesbury,
Buckinghamshire and lived around there until 2003 when we decided to
up sticks and move to Wales. Jenny had never even been to Wales in
her life. So it was ( and still is ) something of an adventure for
us.
As indicated above I enjoy Music, Photography and Genealogy.
My intention is to use this site for Hobby
activity and to post the people that always give us good service, or
have been good to us in some special way , or have helped us along
in our lives.
Genealogy
There are 2 sites for Genealogy.
one is for the public domain and the other is private. The public
site holds no detail on any living people or sources of information
etc. but does show the tree.
The private site holds much more detail and is primarily for family
members. If you need any detail from the private site then please
feel free to contact me.
